For the last 20 or so years, Sn2 has been on the fringe of
Maine 2-Foot gauge model railroading. On2 and HOn30 dominated the
modeling of two-foot gauge enthusiasts. But now seems like the time
for Sn2 to shine, as Train and Trooper is importing the first brass
locomotives as well as a railcar. With such great happenings in Sn2
it seems like a great time to plan a coming out party! The 2007
National Narrow Gauge Convention in Portland Maine. A great way to
show off at the party would be to have a modular setup. If your
interested in two-foot modeling, and like S-scale, consider joining us, by
signing on to the Sn2_Trains group at yahoogroups and then
building a module according to the Sn2 Free-mo standards.

Free-mo
Links - Free-mo is gaining a significant following. It is recommended that
anyone interested in Sn2 Free-mo or modular railroading consider
reviewing the links page. There are many great ideas out there.
The 2007 National Narrow Gauge convention in Portland, ME
is the target showing for Sn2 modular railroading, but not the only place
for Sn2. Actually, anyone planning to build a module for the
convention would benefit from connecting their modules to those of another
modeler before the convention. For that reason, a calendar of Sn2 Free-mo
setups has been established. These events may be a formal
model railroad show/meet or a Saturday afternoon in the garage shared by
two module builders from the same region of the country. The more
the modules are operated the better the 2007 convention will be!
