During the week, I completed the end plate for Dickey
Bridge. This plate serves as a mounting point for the Dickey Bridge
module and the duckunder (to be built opposite side).

In this end view of the plate, the bold and pin which
clamp and align the Dickey bridge section to the plate are visible.
In the future, scenery will be added on top of the plate.
During the weekend, I completed the edge plates for
Phillips and the Dickey Bridge sections of the layout. These two end
plates lock in the 5 sections (20+ feet) which include Dickey Bridge,
Salmon Hole Bridge, Phillips Approach, and 2 Phillips sections. The
sections existed in my old layout, and are portable. The sections
can be taken to shows and set up on tables and run along with 4 other
sections. The end plates are permanently fixed to the benchwork.
They had to be positioned before I could complete the rest of the
trackwork for the continuous run.

Paul (at the saw) and Phil talk about the design of the
Strong end plate.
During the work session, Phil built the end plate for the
Strong side of the duckunder. Jim worked on cutting foam for
Kingfield and Tom completed the ceiling joists to support valance and
lighting. Paul tried to unionize the other workers and ate
pretzels. I'm sure Paul did something of value, possibly assisting
Phil...

Ahhhh...Jim cut foam for the fixed areas of Kingfield

Tom completed the ceiling joist which will support
lighting and valance.
